Parasailing in Captiva

Parasailing was completely different than I expected.  We went with YOLO in Captiva Island several years ago, and it was awesome!

We waded out to the boat, hopped on board, and drove a ways out before gearing up for the first riders.   When it was our turn, we got the harnesses on and we took off and landed from the boat!

When we were up in the air it was gorgeous.  You could see so much, and it was so peaceful & quiet (I’m not sure why, but I wasn’t expecting silence).  Part way through our ride, they did a “dip” where we glided down to the water so our toes touched, and then they popped us back up into the air :)

It was a really fun trip, and amazing experience!
