On our first night in Singapore, we went to the Night Safari at the Singapore Zoo, it was a cool experience. In addition to the tram ride and walking through the zoo, they had an educational program about nocturnal animals. Sadly, we did not attend that show since we were super exhausted from all the travel the day before.
Since we had technically visited the zoo, we debated if we should go back to see it during the day. So, on our last day, we decided to go back and check it out, and I’m so glad we did!
This zoo is by far my favorite zoo of all that I’ve been to.
Many of the exhibits at the zoo are very open concept. This style is super unique, and allows for some great picture opportunities. We saw some of the animal feeding times (the orangutans were adorable!), and caught an educational shows about rain forest animals. I would have loved to see more the shows, but timing wise it would have taken more planning ahead.
After taking hundreds of pictures at the zoo… I’ve sorted it down to my favorites which are posted below!
Even though we were caught in the rain for part of our visit (seriously, it was the ONLY day I didn’t have my umbrella! that’s how it usually is though, right?) it was so much fun visiting the zoo. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore! It’s a definite “MUST VISIT!”
